Julie Peyton: Founder and President

As founder and President of Fit for the King Ministries International Corp, Julie has spent the past 6 years serving as a women's ministry leader, consultant, teacher, writer and coach/mentor at both the domestic and international level. Julie has a strong passion and calling to see women of all walks grow into abundant living!
Julie trained for life coach services through Coach Approach Ministries with the TN Baptist Convention as certified through Valwood Christian Leadership in NC. She studied Theology through Seminary Extension and is currently enrolled in the College of Arts for Religion at Liberty University. She and husband, Shane, have been married for over 21 years and have three children, Chase-21, Alex-18 and Michaela-15 and their new grandson, Asher!

Sabina Wanjiru: Director of Africa

"Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer (meaning stone of help), saying, "Thus far has the LORD helped us." 1 Samuel 7:12
For over a decade Sabina has been committed to serving alongside her perfect husband, Almighty God, in the harvest fields. She works extensively in Kenya and East Africa. She has a passion to see women and girls receive Christ as their Lord and Savior and to see their deliverance from generations of physical, emotional and spiritual oppression and abuse.
Sabina has two sons, both in their twenties, Kennedy and Leonard, and one grandson, Leo. She lives and owns a curio shop in Nairobi, Kenya and is well known among the people there as a woman of honor, integrity and who loves the Lord!

Shane has a passion to not only see people come to Christ, but to disciple them into being ALL that God has designed them to be! He is especially passionate about marriage as he and wife, Julie, are a living example that Jesus is still in the business of bringing back marriages from the dead!

Praise and Worship Arts
Debbie Techentin: Freedom and Music Ministry

"But thou [art] holy, [O thou] that inhabitest the praises of Israel." Psalm 22:3
Debbie has served and worshiped the Lord through song and prayer for the past 30 years! A soloist with citywide choir for the Billy Graham crusade, citywide 9-11 prayer service to a crowd of 15,000 and has served at the local church as a soloist, interim worship leader, with several ensembles and as a choir and praise team member. She also had the honor of recording with Travis Cottrell on his Christmas album, "Ring the Bells."
A heart for missions, Debbie has been part of evangelical teams in India and led worship for a women’s conference in Thailand--a ministry of Lifeway and Thompson Station Church, TN. She is also an expereinced and passionate women's bible study teacher/facilitator. Debbie and her husband of 30 years, Hank, have three college-age children and one in middle school. She has a love for all things "artsy" and holds a Bachelor's degree in Art and Interior Design.

Luz Carlton: Music Ministry

Born and raised in the Philippines along with living many years in Japan, God relocated Luz to the U.S. some ten years ago. While abroad, she attended Logos Bible College and served as a worship leader in Japan (DWXI El Shaddai PPFI-Prayer Partners Foundation International).
In addition to leading worship for Fit for the King Ministries, Luz travels within the U.S. and Asia preaching and singing the gospel with her husband, Gary, and their wonderful, blended family.

Debi relocated to TN after living in beautiful CO.She holds a BA degree in Religious Education. A teacher for 20 years she has a love and passionate heart for children. Debi is regularly involved in her church choir and women`s Bible studies. She is excited to be a part of the ministry team and passionate to see the lives of women and children impacted globally through it's efforts! Debi and her husband, Don, have 2 daughters and 3 precious grandchildren.

Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:1-2
David Tiller, EdD, is an assistant professor for Tennessee State University, College of Education, Nashville, Tennessee. He has also developed and is teaching a graduate course, Evaluation of Training and Development, for The Tennessee Board of Regents Online Degree Program. David retired in May 2009 after 27 years from LifeWay Christian Resources, Nashville, Tennessee. He and wife, Debi, attend and serve at LifePoint Church, Smyrna, TN. In his spare time, he enjoys completing the home projects designed by his wife and keeping up with the five children and eight grandchildren.
